Ok so it's a chain, but it's bloody amazing.
I have been several times and always receive fantastic service and absolutely mouth watering food.

The focaccia is out of this world - have never had better anywhere else. Really juicy.
The Penne Giardiniera is a favourite of mine and my friends, perfectly sized portion, really well seasoned, divine. Reasonably priced and worth every single penny. Other dishes are the same, superb quality.

Also, pop in and buy the pesto at the deli counter, it's the best pesto on the planet.

Just got back from my second visit to Carluccio's...we were recommended this place as a reasonably priced good Italian...hmmm...I'm not so sure. The food is quite bland and certainly not worth the price HOWEVER the wine list although not extensive is really good and there are two or three that go down a treat.

The atmosphere is really chilled and warm and the staff are absolutely amazing - friendly, helpful, warm and genuine - something I rarely see in London. It is a very stylish restaurant with an amazing shop where you can buy everything from interesting recipe books to top-class ingredients - it's a shame they don't seem to know what to do with them. I hope it gets better just because I love the staff and the wine so much!
