Carmen O2 Arena tickets are now available for the huge new opera at the O2 Arena, as the Greenwich venue welcomes George Bizet’s captivating opera that brings 19th century Spain vividly to life. Carmen O2 Arena tickets will enable opera fans to enjoy the O2’s first fully staged opera, as theatre and music impresario Raymond Gubbay brings one of the canon’s very finest operas sweeping into town on an epic scale.

The O2 Arena’s production of Carmen sees the principle roles shared by John Hudson and Philip O’Brien as Don Jose, and Cristina Nassif and Louise Poole as Carmen, with all performers boasting impressive operatic pedigree. Their performances will be backed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Gareth Hancock, as well as direction from David Freeman design from David Roger, choreography from Robert North and sound design from Bobby Aitken.

Classic tale
George Bizet’s classic opera is a firm favourite amongst opera fans the world over, loved for its outspoken, sultry female protagonist who makes her way through a seductive Spanish setting. Carmen’s score is distinctly French though, and features classic opera pieces such as Habanera and the Duet, Gypsy, Flower and Toreador.
