Kids and revellers of all ages can get a sneak peek of the Notting Hill Carnival costumes at Alexandra Palace, in the run up to the grand 2011 August bank holiday event.

Grand Carnival Costume Splash
Called the Grand Carnival Costume Splash, the exhibition of carnival costumes at Alexandra Palace gives carnival fans the chance to get a special preview of this year's Notting Hill Carnival's most spectacular costumes. Expect a riot of colour and a hugely diverse range of fabrics and styles to be on show at this two day display.

Musical journey
As well as the chance to get up close to all the Notting Hill Carnival costumes at Alexandra Palace, you can also enjoy live music to get you in the mood for the carnival procession. There'll be soca, calypso and steel pan music from Mas Bands, and families can also get involved with a variety of drumming and costume making workshops.

Carnival season
Following all the family fun at the display of carnival costumes at Alexandra Palace, the Notting Hill Carnival gets underway with its usual riot of colour, music and Caribbean culture. Click on the links below for more information on what's happening for 2011.

Notting Hill Carnival Childrens Day

The Calo festival and exhibition of carnival costumes at Alexandra Palace takes place during the Grand Carnival Costume Splash, which runs from Friday 19th August - Sunday 21st August 2011. Opening times are 9pm - 2.30am Friday, 1pm - 3am Saturday and 1pm - 9pm Sunday.

Adult admission is £25.00 - £40.00, and admission for children under 12 on Sunday is free. A weekend pass costs £60.00. For more information, click on the link below.
