Join Carol Ann Duffy at the Southbank Centre as she brings her moving new fairy story to the Imagine Childrens Literature Festival. The well known poet and storyteller will give a special reading from her new book, The Princess Blankets, in the Southbanks Centre's Purcell Rooms in February 2009.

Just one of the many events at the Imagine Childrens Literary Festival, the reading by Carol Ann Duffy at the Southbank Centre will also feature woodwind and brass music by John Sampson. Carol Ann Duffy will read aloud from The Princess Blankets, a moving story about a young girl who can never feel warm. This event is suitable for kids aged eight and over.

The Carol Ann Duffy at Southbank Centre event starts at 2.30pm, Friday 13th February 2009. Tickets cost £7.00 for adults and £4.50 for children and can be booked by clicking on the link below.
