Celebrity! Heat Portrait Collection

The Celebrity! Heat portrait collection is open to the public for the very first time this winter as the magazine invites its readers to come and see its famous images in the flesh. With a surprising cast of cover stars, the exhibition of celebrities in unusual and comical poses will certainly catch the eye of gossip hungry Londoners.

Heat magazine stars
Heat magazine is renowned for bringing the love lives and fashion mistakes of the celebrities into our offices and living rooms, but now they are inviting us to take a trip down memory lane as they unveil the Celebrity! Heat portrait collection. 60 photos taken from the last decade make up the exhibition at the Brunswick Gallery, with more celebrity faces that you could shake a stick (or a copy of the magazine) at.

Original artwork
Taken from their extensive archive, the collection of photos features some very famous celebrities indeed, and all have appeared in the magazine over the last ten years. The original pictures were all the results of photo shoots with Heat and star some very famous faces indeed. Whether they are pastiches of famous adverts of simply feature a celebrity in an incongruous set up, you will be impressed and amused by some of the people taking part.

Celebrity portraits
Fancy seeing Girls Aloud dressed as grey haired grannies playing bingo? Then the Celebrity! Heat portrait collection is the exhibition for you. Featuring alongside those lovely celebrity ladies are also Simon Cowell, Paris Hilton, Daniel Radcliffe and even Sir Alan Sugar. Posing in comical and surprising ways, these photos will have you laughing out loud.

James and Jordan
Two highlights of the Celebrity! Heat portrait collection feature Jordan aka Katie Price, and comedian and actor, James Corden. While Jordan is pictured wearing a revealing checkout girl's outfit and scanning melons on the conveyor belt, James Corden is wearing even less. The portly Gavin and Stacey star is seen wearing nothing but his underpants in a tribute to the David Beckham Armani advert. Those with sensitive stomachs may wish to avoid this photo.

The Celebrity! Heat portrait collection exhibition takes place from 10am - 6pm, Monday to Saturday, from Friday 27th November - Thursday 10th December 2009.
