Making for some great summertime entertainment for little children, you can take your kids to see Charlie and Lola at Harrods in August. The two hit characters from the Lauren Child books have recently been adapted into a delightful television programme, and now their puppet counterparts are coming to Harrods for a weekend of fantastic kids shows.

The Toy Kingdom is welcoming Charlie and Lola at Harrods on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st August, with 11 shows happening altogether. I Will Not Ever, Never Eat a Tomato is the funny and touching story of how Lola won't eat all sorts of food, but most especially tomatoes. Inspired by both the books and the TV shows, the puppet theatre is performed in the Japanese style of Ban Raku, and will have children laughing and really engaged right from the start.

Each performance of Charlie and Lola at Harrods last 15 minutes, and the shows take place at the following times:

Saturday 30th August - 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm
Sunday 31st August - 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm

A new collection of Charlie and Lola wooden toys will be launching over the weekend, and will be available to buy from the Harrods Toy Kingdom.
