Head to the Charlotte Street Festival for fine, fresh food and family entertainment in June 2009. The second such event to take place in Charlotte Street and surrounding roads, the festival aims to be a massive street party and food market rolled into one.

Charlotte Street Festival
Taking place on Saturday 6th June 2009, the Charlotte Street Festival aims to bring the streets of Fitzrovia to life with plenty of live performances and gourmet food to start the summer off with a bang. 50 chefs have created 150 special dishes for the festival, so there's bound to be something there to tempt your tastebuds and get your mouth watering.

Restaurants around Charlotte Street
Restaurants such as Chez Gerard, Bam Bau, Andreas Greek Restaurant and Bertorelli will all be taking part in the Charlotte Street Festival with a range of special menus on the day. Japanese restaurant Tsunami will also be joining in with all the fun by serving sushi box selections, chicken guoza dumplings and oysters with a summer salsa to hungry festival goers.

Art and live entertainment
Expect to see and hear plenty of buskers and street performers entertaining the crowds at the 2009 festival on Charlotte Street, providing all the revelry of a traditional street fayre. Artefact Picture Framers will be putting on an exhibition of work by students of Cavendish College, and the Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery will also be displaying work by contemporary artists.
