Art experts and first time buyers alike can find something to take home at the Chelsea Art Fair, with some works on sale for as little as £200.00. A selection of more expensive pieces will also be on display, ranging up to £20,000.00 in value.
World famous art fair
Ever since 1996 the art fair has been one of the most anticipated art events of the year. With dozens of leading galleries showing plenty of amazing art work, people come from all over the world to browse and to buy.
Big name artists
Keep an eye out for original etchings, lithographs, engravings and screenprints from contemporary artists at the fair, with galleries from all over the UK coming to exhibit their collections. The 15th annual fair features work from around 40 galleries, and promises many 3D art in bronze, wood, stone, ceramic and more.
Rock star art
For 2009 the art fair boasted an incredible amount of art from the glitterati. The stand of Jonathan Poole from the Compton Cassey Gallery in Gloucestershire included original works from the likes of Ronnie Wood, Miles Davis and Sir Paul McCartney, and they were all up for sale to those wanting a slice of celebrity art to take home with them. Expect to see a similar selection of star studded art at the 2011 fair.
