Sip on something floral and feast on a botany inspired menu during the Chelsea Flower Show at The Botanist. The stylish Sloane Square bar is celebrating another year of beautiful blooms and designer gardens by offering a limited edition menu to complement its botanical drinks list.
Special menu
Regardless of whether you've been lucky enough to secure tickets to see the show in person or whether you're following all the gardening action on the television, the special menu for the Chelsea Flower Show at The Botanist is a refreshing way to relax and take stock of all the new floral designs and trends on show at the Royal Hospital Gardens. The three course menu begins with an urban garden salad, which features nasturtium, dandelion, summer pea and radish with nettle rolled goat's cheese and borage flowers.
Main course
The main course of the special menu celebrating the Chelsea Flower Show at The Botanist is roast lamb, served with crushed Jersey Royals, nettles, braised Alexanders and peppermint jus. The meal is finished off with a serving of English strawberries with rose petal and elderflower champagne jelly and ginger beer granite.
Cocktails
Also available at The Botanist are a range of spring cocktails, such as the Sloane No. 7 which contains homemade sloe gin, blueberries and Joseph Perrier Champagne. There's also the Victorian Pink, featuring Pinky vodka, lychee puree, fresh grapefuit juice, homemade rosebud syrup and lemonade.
