Get in the festive mood at the special Christmas at Covent Garden events, featuring fantastic light displays, a Lego surprise, gourmet food markets and much, much more.
Sure to be a massive attraction for the crowds in November and December, the festive lights display makes for a visually stunning Christmas at Covent Garden. The lights have once again been designed by the award winning United Visual Artists, and provide a dazzling and contemporary alternative to the traditional light displays taking place elsewhere in London.

This year, in addition to the Christmas lights, visitors to the Covent Garden Piazza can also see the a giant 22 foot tall silver reindeer. And on the evening of the turn on itself, you can expect to see Crosstown Doughnuts will be giving away personalised Covent Garden ringed doughnuts to all comers.
Festive Real Food Market
The hugely successful Real Food Market is gearing up for Christmas at Covent Garden by stocking a range of seasonal gourmet fare for food fans. Sip on mulled wine, nibble on a mince pie and snap up some award winning stilton and luxury Christmas cake for your festive larder.

Christmas Pudding Race
Another special event taking place in Covent Garden once again for 2014 is the charity Christmas Pudding Race, which sees teams of intrepid competitors negotiating a series of obstacles which carrying a festive pud.

The Christmas at Covent Garden season starts with a big launch night on Tuesday 4th November 2043, during which the Christmas lights will be switched on at 6pm. Admission is free.
