The festive season really gets underway at Greenwich Market from 30th November, when the Christmas lights are switched on amidst carol singing and a special appearance by Father Christmas. Spectators can also catch the charming lantern parade by local schoolchildren.

Santa's Grotto
As well as giving you the chance to shop for Christmas presents, you can also send the little ones to see Santa this Christmas at Greenwich Market. Children can meet Santa in his grotto on Wednesday 30th November when the market Christmas lights are switched on, and then on select days in the run up to Christmas Eve.

The opening hours over Christmas at Greenwich Market are 10am - 5.30pm. The arts, craft and food stalls run from Tuesday - Sunday, and the antiques, vintage and collectables stalls open on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
