As well as being a superb place to pick out some great Christmas presents that you might not find anywhere else in London, Jermyn Street will celebrate the festive period in style on Thursday 13th November 2008 by closing the street to traffic and becoming all seasonal for a few hours.

Luxury shopping
From 5pm – 8pm on 13th November 2008, Jermyn Street will see all things traditionally festive come out to play. In association with Square Mile and The Hedge magazine, the street will be host to a luxury shopping evening where visitors can sup on mulled wine and munch on mince pies to make the late night shopping even more enjoyable. There will also be magicians, port master classes, marching bands and Christmas carols that are sure to keep everyone entertained on what looks set to be a real winter highlight.

Classic cars
In recognition of the fact that not everyone loves shopping, Christmas at Jermyn Street will also see a display of some amazing classic cars so don’t worry about being dragged around shops when you’ve already got your gifts, there’ll be some of the most nostalgic cars in the world paraded before your eyes.

Christmas at Jermyn Street will run throughout November and December, with a special Christmas shopping evening on Thursday 13th November 2008 from 5pm – 8pm.
