Christmas cheer
The festive season is upon us once again, and there are a veritable feast of yuletide treats in store over Christmas at London Eye. The brightly lit observation wheel on the South Bank is bound to be a popular destination for many a Londoner and visitor to the capital over the season, so book your tickets in advance if you want the chance to take part in all the seasonal events on offer.
Ice rink
The 300 square metre ice rink will be open for business once again for over Christmas at London Eye, giving you the chance to strap on your skates and head out onto the ice with friends and family. Over the last few years, ice skating has become a popular Christmas tradition and the ice rink on the South Bank is bound to be popular with kids and all ages in the run up to the big day.
4D cinema
As well as giving you the chance to skate around the ice rink underneath the brightly lit observation wheel over Christmas at London Eye, tickets for the Eye-Skate ice rink also give you access to the state of the art 4D cinema. The short film screenings at the cinema combine 4D visuals with sensory effects that create the illusion of wind blowing and snow falling, and are bound to elicit a few oohs and ahhs from the audience.
