Christmas at Proud Camden

Transforming the ever changing venue once more, this Christmas at Proud Camden sees a whole host of fantastic bands and a festive selection of decorations that would put Liberty's show windows to shame.

Christmas wonderland
With a magical enchanted forest theme, the venue has been transported from North London to a Narnia like winter wonderland, full of dark and magical elements that give an alternative take on traditional Christmas scenes.

Festive decor at Proud
Renowned for changing with the season the venue has once again been turned inside out with its unusal decor. Described as the original pop up bar, Christmas at Proud Camden should certainly be on your list of places to visit, if only for the decorations alone. The Stables Room plays host to a selection of alternative nativity scenes inthe rafters, with frosted unicorns and Pop Art style snow leopards, meer cats and white Christmas trees. Alongside these, illuminated bird cages are circled by acid coloured birds.

Chilled out style
More unsual additions behind the bar take the form of faux deer heads with silver antlers, and four large light sculptures make up a modern version of a Christmas wreath. Over in the South Gallery a more chilled out vibe has been created by an enormous Christmas tree lavishly decorated with forbidden fruit and circled by flying crows.

Entertainment
Live music and DJ nights continue apace over Christmas at Proud Camden with performances from the likes of Beardyman, Simian Mobile Disco, Florence and the Machine and Mr Hudson. The culmination of the festive season is the Courtesans and Corsets New Years Eve party, which will see live burlesque from Roxy Velvet and Kitty Kitty Bang Bang, live bands, DJs and free rum elixir cocktails for all.
