Do the festive season differently for 2008 with Christmas on Mars at Barbican cinema. Part of their Do Christmas Different series of events, Christmas on Mars is screening over three days. The first feature film to come from the band The Flaming Lips, this peculiar fantasy film has been compared to the likes of Eraserhead and The Wizard of Oz. Mixing Christmas and the futuristic climate of space stations on Mars, this is definitely one for those already jaded by the festivities. The screening will be introduced by Wayne Coyne from The Flaming Lips.
