It may be an outdoor pool, but this doesn't stop hundreds of people turning up to do their lengths in the midst of winter. An ideal way to shake off your sorry head after New Years Eve or even turn up on Christmas Day to get match fit for eating all that turkey, Christmas swimming at Hampton Pool is not just for the fitness mad or the masochistically minded.

Take a festive dip
Open from Christmas Eve through to New Years Day, you can wallow in the heated water and take advantage of the lack of custom over the holiday period. There is even a special exclusive swimming slot starting at 6.15am for those that can't keep out of the water even on Christmas Day. Tickets for this session are £10.00, and admission to the pool for this session is on a pre-booked basis only.
