This December you can choose a beautiful Christmas tree grown in a sustainable forest and support the London Wetland Centre at the same time.

The Christmas trees at London Wetland Centre are being so sold with the help of Silver Fir, a company specialising in trees from sustainable sources, for the fourth year running. £1.00 from every tree sold goes direct to the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust to help conservation work.

The Christmas trees at London Wetland Centre are be on sale in the centre’s car park from Saturday 29th Novermber to Monday 22nd December, they range in size from 3ft to 10ft and all trees are needle fast.

Silver Fir was established in 1994 by Paul Grogan and Brian Butler to grow Christmas trees on sustainable plantations in Ireland using the latest techniques to achieve superior quality colour with full foliage. Silver Fir have been associated with the Christmas trees at London Wetland Centre operation since the company started in 2003.
