Church Farmhouse Museum

The museum is housed in one of the oldest surviving dwellings in Barnet borough. The building was a dairy and hay-making farm until the early 20th century and was opened as a museum in 1955. The kitchen of the museum is furnished as it would have been in the 1820s with stone flagged floor, huge fireplace and bake oven. Throughout the year there is a programme of exhibitions on local history, arts and crafts and visitors can make use of an audio guide as they look around the house.
