Brick big top
Filling the iconic Camden venue with live circus permances, circus themed film screenings and live music inspired by all things big top, CircusFest London is a circus festival like no other. Regardless of whether you've seen Cirque du Soleil perform upteem times and are looking for something a bit different or have never seen any circus acts before, there's bound to be something to interest and excite.

X rated circus
Sure to grab more than a few headlines and set the pulses of the audience racing at CircusFest London is the show by Trash City, a strictly over 18s affair that features a gay disco, fire breathing animatronic robots and a recreation of the vampire bar from the film Dusk 'Till Dawn. Cult circus at its best, Trash City stars some leading lights of the British cabaret scene including well known names such as Empress Stah and Jonny Woo.

Circus themed films
Also on show during CircusFest London are a series of films from the BFI Archives that celebrate the culture and history of circus performers. Highlights include the Disney classic Dumbo and the haunting James Marsh documentary Man on Wire, which recounts the so called artistic crime of the century, committed when Phillippe Petit walked on a wire between the twin towers of the World Trade Centre in New York.

Young performers
The circus festival also includes contributions from two young circus companies that showcase the up and coming talent of the next generation of performers. The double bill of shows features the world premiere of the Roundhouse Circus Company's show, Narcissus, as well as Circolombia's theatrical performance, Urban.
