The City Showcase Festival is famous for showcasing a diverse range of new music talent, where music fans can see performances from the industry’s up and comers. In previous years the City Showcase Music Festival unearthed acts including Amy Winehouse, Razorlight, Newton Faulkner, Ray LaMontagne, Hot Chip and Keane at a series of exclusive live shows.
Shop 'til you bop at Carnaby Street
Gigs will be taking place in shops and other venues on Carnaby Street and surrounding areas. Music fans have a unique opportunity to see live acts in a funky, intimate setting, before browsing the shops for something cool to take home. In addition to new music, new fashion will also be showcased, featuring work from a range of new British designers.
New for 2011 at the City Showcase Musical Festival
City Showcase is a not for profit organisation seeking to present new talent to new audiences. At the City Showcase Music Festival music fans can see an eclectic mix of musical styles, with the latest in indie, soul, hip hop, rock and more. The line up for 2011 contains some amazing acts including the likes of The Critical, Chloe Jones, Katalina Kicks, Moon Visionaries, Tigers That Talked and many, many more, all of whom will be bands to keep an eye on for the rest of the year.
