The Classic FM Proms Spectacular looks set to be one of the real highlights of the year for classical music fans. The day will see the likes of Jon Lord, keyboard legend from Deep Purple; Jonathan Ansell, formerly of G4; Natasha Marsh, opera diva extraordinaire; and Jae Alexander, acclaimed conductor of the English National Orchestra.

The Proms Spectacular will also see a celebration of the BBC Proms themselves, as the Last Night of the Proms is waved off in time honoured style by flags, fireworks, Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory. Visitors are invited to bring their own picnic too, making the Classic FM Proms Spectacular the perfect picnic concert.

The Proms Spectacular will be one of two events held at Marble Hill on that weekend, with the Sunday devoted to a great day of entertainment from Ronnie Scotts, the legendary jazz club.
