Fashionistas and lovers of retro style can practice some retail therapy at the Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair. The fair's motto is Heirlooms not Landfill, and is another addition to London's thriving retro and vintage fashion scene.

Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair
Bringing together 50 dealers from across the UK, the Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair features fashion from the 1800s, right through to the 1980s. With menswear, womenswear, accessories and textiles on sale, the fair should appeal to those who are looking for something outside of the standard high street range.

Recycle and reuse
As well as giving you the chance to snap up the perfect signature piece for your wardrobe, the Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair lets you feel all warm and fuzzy inside about doing something for the environment, too. Instead of leading to increased demand for the production of new clothes, the Heirlooms not Landfill fair encourages everyone to take proper care of the fashion treasures from the past, and reuse and recycle them as much as possible.

Fashion, and food too
If all that searching for the perfect bargain leaves you in need of refreshment, then fear not; there's a vintage style cafe and fully licensed bar serving food and drink to hungry and thirsty shoppers. At the vintage salon you can also get a retro style quick fix make up, hair and manicure session from £5.00.

The Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair runs from 11am - 4.30pm, Sunday 19th February 2012 at The Urdang, Old Finsbury Town Hall. Admission is £4.00.
