Clocks Go Forward

When

Sunday 25th March 2012

Where

London and across the UK

Don’t forget to set your clocks forward by one hour on Sunday 25th March 2012, officially the start of British Summer Time. We may be losing an hour in bed but with extra daylight in the evenings and a long summer ahead, there’s plenty to look forward to after the clocks go forward.

If you want to know when the clocks go back in October, click on the link below.

An extra hour of daylight
Take yourself outdoors and enjoy the extra light over the weekend with some sporty springtime action. The Sport Relief London Mile will see thousands of runners meeting on The Mall to do their bit for charity, while a hardy few will be braving the elements by taking a dip in one of the city's outdoor swimming pools over the weekend.

Fun in the sun
Take a stroll amongst the flowers at Kew Gardens or get a taste for country living at the spring fair in Islington over the weekend the clocks go forward. Or if your mind is turning to spring cleaning and getting a new, fresh look for your pad, there's also the Ideal Home Show for inspiration.

Something new
If the arrival of a new season inspires the desire for change, then head to the Vitality Show for one of the biggest health and beauty events in the UK. Alternatively, culture vultures can head to the Pick Me Up art fair and buy work from some of the most exciting graphic artists and illustrators around.
