A treat for theatre goers and fans of The Bard, The Comedy of Errors at Roundhouse is part of a series of events taking place to celebrate the World Shakespeare Festival. Other plays to be performed by members of the Royal Shakespeare Company at The Roundhouse include The Tempest and Twelfth Night.

Amir Nizar Zuabi
Those lucky enough to get tickets to see The Comedy of Errors at Roundhouse can enjoy the latest directorial effort by acclaimed playwright and director Amir Nizar Zuabi. Zuabi is the founder of Palestinian theatre company ShiberHur, and his previous productions include an adaptation of Kafka's In The Penal Colony at The Young Vic.

Double trouble
The performances of The Comedy of Errors at Roundhouse follow the fortunes of two sets of identical twins, separated at birth and then thrown together again in the town of Ephesus, with farcical and hilarious consequences. With mistaken identities, slapstick comedy, romance and reunited families all in the mix, the production promises to be a welcome addition to the season of Shakespeare plays taking place across the capital in 2012.

The Comedy of Errors at Roundhouse takes place from Friday 1st June - Wednesday 4th July 2012. Tickets cost £8.00 - £35.00, and are available from Monday 10th October 2011.
