Converse 1 HundRed Exhibition

The Converse 1 HundRed exhibition at Size shoe store on Carnaby Street is the perfect place for sneaker lovers and art fans, as some talented artists have lent their designs to the classic Converse trainer.

Converse 1 HundRed
Around 100 designs from various different artists have been added to the trainers in aid of the Converse Red contribution, which contributes to the Red global fund set up by Bono and Bobby Shriver to help in the fight against AIDS.

Artistic trainers
Talent from the art and music world and fashion industry have created their own designs for the Converse 1 HundRed exhibtion, and you can see these babies instore throughout October. The likes of Basso and Brooke, Gary Hume, Umbereen Quereshi and Camilla Engman have all made their mark on the Converse trainers, making each design utterly unique.

Unique shoes
Not only are the designs on the trainers in the Converse 1 HundRed exhibition unique, but each pair of trainers has an individual number on the inside that corresponds to the artist that created it. The number then relates to a page on www.converse.com that gives you more information about the artist and their design inspirations, along with more information about the Converse 1 HundRed project too.

Make your own trainers Red
For those that have been inspired by the Size shoe store's Converse 1 HundRed exhibition, you can express your own originality with the Make Mine Red option on www.converseon.com, where you can create your own design and become the 101st designer to participate in the Converse Red project.

The Converse 1 HundRed exhibition of trainers takes place from Friday 10th October - Friday 31st October 2008 at the Converse store at Size, Carnaby Street. The exhibition is free to enter.
