Craft Central Gets Hitched

This spring Craft Central Gets Hitched once again as the designers and makers from the Clerkenwell craft site bring their wedding-themed wares to showcase. With wedding bells getting set to chime throughout the year, this is the perfect place to pick up some unique bridal styles or simply take inspiration for your big day.

Having made its debut last summer, Craft Central Gets Hitched is back again for 2012, following on from the huge success of last year's show. Whether you are sick of all the same old bridal themed accessories on the high street or want a one-off design for your dress, there is no better place to look than Craft Central.

Handmade designs
Renowned for hosting craft workshops, weekend sales and seasonal gift exhibitions, Craft Central has branched out into the world of weddings with their very own wedding fair. Certain to inspire even the most over-whelmed brides-to-be, this is your chance to browse unique, handmade pieces from over 45 different designers at Craft Central Gets Hitched that will give your special day a very personal touch. Wedding dresses from Melanie Potro and Kate Edmondson, vintage inspired headdresses from Katherine Elizabeth, wedding rings and bridal jewellery from Andrew English and Oxx Jewellery, and Chop's Cakes are all on hand to inspire your wedding choices.

Wedding belles
Bridal fashion, invitations, milinery, wedding jewellery, hen and stag accessories, bunting, decorations, favours and all other kinds of suitabley themed paraphernalia are on show at the 2012 Craft Central Gets Hitched event, meaning you can deck yourself and your venue out in head to toe handmade items. There are even fashion extras for the Mother of the Bride, the best man and the bridesmaids, with the designers able to cater for almost every single aspect of your wedding.

Commissioned work
Even if you are the pickiest bride in the world, and can't find anything, anywhere that matches your tastes for the most romantic day of your life, Craft Central Gets Hitched has the answer. With several makers taking on commissions at the show, you can talk to the designers in question, get inspiration for your designs and have a one-off item of jewellery or dress made just for you!

Craft Central Gets Hitched takes place from Thursday 22nd - Sunday 25th March 2012. Opening times are 4 - 8pm on Thursday and Friday, 11am - 5pm on Saturday, and 12 - 4pm on Sunday. Entrance is free.
