Crisis Carol Service

The Crisis Carol Service returns once again this year to remind Londoners of the potential they have to help the thousands of homeless people living on the streets of London. Held in the beautiful surroundings of Southwark Cathedral, this is a free carol concert that will celebrate the meaning of Christmas in the heart of London.

Crisis is a very important charity that does huge amounts for the homeless in London. Making Christmas a priorty the charity do various different fundraising events to help them throughout the cold months, by providing shelter, hot food, the chance to get new and warmer clothes, and even have a bath and a haircut. This is a chance to enjoy a wonderful evening of Christmas carols and remember the homeless at the same time.

Christmas carol services in London are a perfect way to spend the evening enjoying a traditional part of the festive season. The Crisis Carol Service will give you the opportunity to sing some of your favourite carols and take part in a meaningful service that will culminate in a beautiful evening for all present. Take some time away from the hustle and bustle of the Christmas shopping and preparation for the big day and hear the carols sung by the Thames Philhamornic Choir who will be adding their voices to the songs.

After the service, all visitors to the cathedral are invited to attend the reception to tuck into some delicious mulled wine and mince pies to finish the night off perfectly.
