Crusaid Walk for Life

Head to Potters Fields on the South Bank for the Crusaid Walk for Life and help raise money and awareness for people living with HIV and AIDS. The event is expected to draw in large crowds from all walks of life, including gay and lesbian groups, kids, families, and everyone who wants to make a difference to this world wide problem.

Crusaid Walk for Life
Aiming to support people living in poverty and affected by HIV and AIDS both in the UK and around the world, the Crusaid Walk for Life is a 10k walk through central London. Over the years thousands of people have taken part with millions of pounds being raised, and this year aims to be even bigger and better.

All welcome
All ages and abilities are welcome to take part in the Crusaid Walk for Life, so expect to see everyone from toddlers in prams to grandparents taking part. The walk should take around two or three hours to complete, and will take you past some iconic London landmarks such as Tower Bridge, St Pauls Cathedral and the National Theatre.

Follow the yellow brick road
This year the theme for the walk centralises around The Wizard of Oz. Come dressed as Dorothy, The Scarecrow, The Tin Man, or even Toto and join in all the fun.

The Crusaid Walk for Life starts at 10am, Sunday 5th June 2011. The walk begins and ends at Potters Field.
