The Cultural Olympiad Open Weekend continues the four year programme of arts, cultural and sporting events in the capital and all over the rest of the UK that will culminate in the London 2012 Olympic Games. With just one year to go before the whole of London and the UK go all out for the Olympics, the 2011 Open Weekend is bound to be bigger and better than ever before.

London venues giving out culture
Museums and galleries will be getting behind the Cultural Olympiad London events with the likes of the Tate Britain and British Museum taking part. Live music and performance venues will also be showcasing their talented performers as free events take place at Rich Mix, the Barbican and other cultural hotspots.
