The Culture8 sport and music festival takes place at Wembley Arena on Sunday 28th September and is sure to get everyone in the mood for the 2012 London Olympics. With global music and dance performances taking place alongside an amazing range of sporting displays, there will be something for everyone to enjoy during the Culture8 sport and music event.

Encouraging audiences to get up on their feet and involved, everyone who comes to the Culture0 sport and music festival at Wembley Arena will be able to try their hand at all kinds of sports. With sporting champions and Olympic athletes also present on the day, this is one event where you are sure to feel inspired to do more sport.

The Get Set London Olympic Roadshow will be forming a major part of the Culture8 day, with all kinds of Olympic sports represented. You and your mates can test your reactions on the BATAK wall, race against each other on the rowing machine, and shoot some hoops with the basketball experts.

Those that fancy themselves as potential Olympians can test their strength against previous competitiors, and you can find out what your ideal sport is from the clever sporting database, which analyses your strengths and weaknesses. More sporting fun can be had at the Culture8 sport and music festival with the chance to try out rugby and even parkour, or freerunning at the event.

Anyone that perfers watching sport over taking part will be in for a treat as there festival features a whole range of exciting entertainment for both kids and adults. World renowned artists like Jazzie B from Soul II Soul and the famous beatboxer Shlomo will be on hand and performing their own fantastic music; you can watch the finalists of the West London Dance Challenge, and catch all kinds of other street entertainment.

Along with all the sport and music taking place at Wembley Arena the Culture8 festival will also bring you live music and artistic performances from around the world, as well as delicious food from a whole host of different countries. Certain to be a fun filled day out for the family, the Culture8 sport and music festival is a great way to keep the spirit of the Olympics alive in London until 2012.

Tickets for Culture8 and the Get Set London Olympic Roadshow are £2.00 for adults, £1.00 for kids, and a family ticket is £5.00 for 2 adults and 2 children. Phone 020 8782 5505 to book tickets for the event.
