Damien Hirst at White Cube

Damien Hirst at White Cube

When

Wednesday 25th November 2009 - Saturday 30th January 2010

Where

White Cube Hoxton Square and Mason's Yard

Nothing Matters, the new exhibition of work by Damien Hirst at White Cube, is running at the contemporary art gallery's Mason's Yard and Hoxton Square venues. Featuring more of the art that has made Damien Hirst the darling of the modern Britart set, the exhibition has already attracted an impressive amount of media and public interest.

Exhibition highlights
Nothing Matters follows past exhibitions of Damien Hirst at White Cube including the Beyond Belief show of 2007, which garnered a huge amount of publicity and a degree of controversy too because of the inclusion of the platinum and diamond skull, billed as one of the most expensive pieces of art ever created. Art lovers will no doubt want to take a look at what the new exhibition has to offer in terms of eye catching work and daring concepts.

Paintings exhibition
Nothing Matters features a number of paintings by Damien Hirst, including three triptychs dated 2007 - 2009 which depict flying crows. At Hoxton Square the crows are painted in mid flight against blue skies, while on the lower ground floor of Mason's Yard the crows appear as bad omens alongside ghost-like figures, knives, animal skulls and other objects.

Damien Hirst in London
As well as the Damien Hirst at White Cube show, there is also No Love Lost, an exhibition of the artist's paintings being held concurrently at the Wallace Collection. Damien Hirst fans can also catch some of the artist's work at the Pop Life exhibition at the Tate Modern, which is also being held in the winter of 2009. Where it's at
The Damien Hirst at White Cube exhibition is being held across the gallery's two venues at Hoxton Square and Mason's Yard. Click on the links below for further venue information. Nothing Matters, the Damien Hirst at White Cube exhibition, runs from Wednesday 25th November 2009 - Saturday 30th January 2010. Gallery opening times are 10am - 6pm Tuesday - Saturday. Admission is free.
