From ballet to Bollywood, head to the dance classes at Pineapple to learn some new moves and enjoy a fun exercise workout.
Range of styles
With everything from jazz and Latin to contemporary, hip hop and Eastern styles covered in the syllabus, the dance classes at Pineapple are a great place to start developing your technique and learn some new moves. The studios teach over 200 classes per week and cater for everyone from the absolute beginner to the aspiring pro, so you're bound to be in good company at the lessons.
Pineapple Dance Studios
Established in the 1970s in an old pineapple warehouse in Covent Garden, Pineapple Dance Studios has gone from strength to strength, and even has its own popular clothing range. The dance classes at Pineapple are likely to be in even higher demand now that the studios are the subject of a behind the scenes documentary series, so expect a high turnout for whatever class you choose.
Class timetable
If you want to hone your breakdance, popping and locking skills, then head to one of the many street dance classes at Pineapple, which cover everything from hip hop funk to LA hip hop and New Style. Other classes on the timetable at the studios include jazz for beginners, steps and notes tap, classical ballet and intermediate contemporary dance.
Eastern style
As well as all the contemporary styles of dance on offer at Pineapple Dance Studios, there's also a range of Eastern dances to try. There's Egyptian dance which encompasses belly dancing, as well as bhangra dances and Bollywood styles.
Bollywood Dance Lessons
The dances lessons at Pineapple Dance Studios takes place seven days a week. The studios are open 9am - 10pm Monday - Friday, 9am - 6.30pm Saturday and 10am - 6pm Sunday. For more information and the full timetable of events, click on the link below.

A month's membership costs £25.00, and a year's membership costs £140.00. Non members can also buy a day's membership for £2.00 - £4.00 for adults and ££1.0 - £2.00 for children. Please note that there may be additional costs for individual classes.
