Art lovers with an eye for figurative art will be interested in the new exhibition by David Thompson at Adonis Art Gallery. After a varied career as an illustrator at several graphic design companies, the artist has returned to his roots with a show that celebrates the male form.

Showing a series of both colour and black and white oil paintings, the exhibition by David Thompson at Adonis Art gives an insightful snapshot of modern life. The portraits of men at work and play include figures decorating walls, sailing boats, and looking out to sea, which provides ample opportunity for Thompson to explore his preoccupations of shape, colour and emotion.

The exhibition by David Thompson at Adonis Art runs from Tuesday 4th November - Tuesday 2nd December 2008. Gallery opening times are 11am - 5.45pm Monday - Friday, 10.30am - 5pm Saturday. Entrance is free. For more information, follow the link below
