Mexican festival
Also known as El Dia de los Muertos, Day of the Dead is a Mexican festival where families and friends join together to celebrate the lives of departed loved ones. Central to the festivities is the ofrenda, an altar piled high with flowers, food, and other offerings. If you don't have the chance to make it all the way over to Latin America for the 2011 Day of the Dead, London restaurants, bars, and cultural venues are putting on Mexican themed events to help you join in with all the fun.
