Dickens and London exhibition tickets for the Museum of London show are now on sale, giving you the chance to take a step back into 19th century London. Marking the 200th anniversary of the author's birth, the show is set to celebrate the life and work of one of the most famous Victorian writers.

Exhibition tickets will no doubt be flying off the shelves very soon as fans of the books, films and TV shows inspired by the writer learn about this exciting event. Taking place at the Museum of London, the life of Charles Dickens, from his humble beginnings as a worker in a blacking factory, is told through a selection of objects, manuscripts and paintings.

Exhibition highlights
Recreating the atmosphere of 19th century London, the museum invites you to enter the world of poverty, prostitution, childhood mortality and philanthropy, which are the key issues addressed throughout Dickens' novels. With Dickens and London exhibition tickets, you can learn about Dickens' own childhood experience of the Debtor's Prison, which he used as inspiration for Little Dorrit.and even see the rarely viewed manuscripts of Bleak House and David Copperfield, which were penned by his own hand.

Audio visual experiences
Alongside photos, costumes and other objects that explore and explain the writings of Charles Dickens, the exhibition features an array of interactive audio visiual displays that will immerse you in the sights and sounds of Victorian London. A specially commissioned film is at the heart of this part of the show, where Dickens and London exhibition tickets holders can see the work of William Raban, one of the UK's leading documentary makers. His feature explores the similiarities between contemporay London and that of the 19th century, as it was described by Dickens nearly 200 years ago.
