London Olympia show
Transforming the London Olympia Two space into an alternative universe populated by Time Lords and a host of instantly recognisable aliens, the Doctor Who Experience is bound to be a memorable day out for fans of the much loved and long running BBC television series. Few TV shows have proven to be as enduringly popular, so Doctor Who Experience tickets are likely to be in high demand amongst young and old alike.
Doctor's companion
Those lucky enough to get their hands on Doctor Who Experience tickets will be treated to a walk through journey, which is accompanied by screenings of scenes filmed with the current Doctor, Matt Smith. Kids in particular are bound to love the interactive element, which places the visitor in the role of Doctor's companion and challenges them to reunited the Doctor with the TARDIS while facing attacks from a Dalek spaceship and Weeping Angels.
Tour of the TARDIS
Other elements of the walk through show include 3D screenings, complete with special effects. Doctor Who Experience tickets will also enable you to enter a recreation of the TARDIS interior, with the modern console room decor created for the Eleventh Doctor.
Exhibition highlights
In addition to the interactive adventure, the Doctor Who experience also features an exhibition which explores the history of the television programme, from the first episodes of 1963 right through to the most recent series starring Matt Smith and Karen Gillan. Exhibits on display include never before seen items such as original costumes, the Tom Baker TARDIS police box and two authentic TARDIS sets from the series starring David Tennant and Peter Davison.
Up close
Other highlights of the Doctor Who exhibition include a gallery on monsters from throughout the Doctor Who eras, including Daleks, Cybermen, Silurians, Ice Warriors and a Zygon. There's also the chance to get up close and hands on with iconic set pieces from the most recent series, including the Pandorica Box and Chair.
The Doctor Who Experience is open from Sunday 20th February - Wednesday 30th November 2011 at London Olympia Two. Opening hours are 10am - 6pm daily.
Adult Doctor Who Experience tickets cost £15.50 - £20.00, while tickets for children aged 5 - 16 cost £12.50 - £15.50. Kids under 5 go free. A family ticket is also available for £46.00 - £62.00.
