Doctor Who Preview at BFI Southbank

Join cast members for a special Q&A session as well as the chance to see the Christmas special before anyone else at the Doctor Who preview at BFI Southbank.

Giving you a sneak peek of the Christmas special starring Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and Michael Gambon, the Doctor Who preview at BFI Southbank promises plenty of adventure, drama, comedy and festive spirit for Doctor Who fans. Demand for tickets to see the premiere before it hits the nation's television screens this Christmas are likely to be in high demand, so make sure you book in plenty of time to avoid disappointment.

Q&A session
Following the Doctor Who preview at BFI Southbank, there's also the chance to join members of the cast and production team for a Q&A session where you can ask your burning questions about the Christmas special. The Doctor Who event is part of the Screen Epiphanies series which gives BFI members and movie buffs exclusive access to film and television previews.

As well as the chance to see the Doctor Who preview at BFI Southbank, the acclaimed South Bank venue is also hosting a series of special screenings and events over the Christmas period, such as It's A Wonderful Life and The Nightmare Before Christmas. In addition, the BFI Southbank's sister venue, BFI IMAX, is also hosting 3D screenings of Tron: Legacy, Polar Express and A Christmas Carol.

Public event
Although tickets to actually see the screening are now fully booked, you can still take part in all the fun by turning up at BFI Southbank at 6pm on the night for some Christmas carols, led by Katherine Jenkins. There's also a viewing of the TARDIS, and you can also expect to see some very special guests in the foyer before the lucky few ticketholders head into the cinema to see the film.

The Doctor Who preview at BFI Southbank starts 6.30pm, Monday 13th December 2010. Please note that tickets for this event have now sold out.

Before the screening, there is a free Christmas carol concert led by Katherine Jenkins with special guests and a viewing of the TARDIS in the foyer. This event is open to both ticket holders and non ticket holders alike. Please note that for logistical reasons, it will not be possible to get autographs at this event.
