This club definatelly have pros and cons. The venue is beautifull, the door staff is a bit moody but if you catch them in a good day they can be very nice (surprising, I know!), the dood girl tho never make you feel welcome, makes me think that she doesn't really enjoy her job. The drinks a bit expensive, but I suppose its the price you pay for a celeb venue, which I do not mind paying but the bartenders most of the time prefer to chat the girls and forget to serve people! One of the bartenders was serving me from the other side of the bar, didn't bother moving towards me and instead was just shoulting to get me order... wot da ...??!The DJ's... well, it does seem that they're just pressing "play" in the dh booth and they always cut the songs when is just about to get good.Anyway, lucky me I always had a good time with friends when I am there, but its not a club that I look forward every week to go to.

vile..is the only word i can use to describe this place. i have been clubbing to most of the "exclusive" clubs in London, but NEVER EVER have i been treated in this way. Despite using the house guestlist and having our names confirmed and being a group of 5 attractive girls we still had trouble getting in, and the lady on the door was disgustingly rude. When we got in it was so empty we decided to leave but were persuaded to stay by a few of the nicer door staff, after complaining about our treatment at the door. Even when we were persuaded to stay one of the "charming" doorwomen decided to shout abuse at us! Ignoring this, the club was very empty and full of the tackiest people i have ever seen. Most of the girls looked like prostitutes, wearing sleazy clothes and parading themselves in an unsavoury manner. The men were as slimy as you can get, most would not and could not take no for an answer! What was more disturbing was the large groups of men who were older than my grandfather. I can safely say will not be returning to Dolce, it definitely does not carry the exclusive tag and you can find more class in a brothel..

Ok so i agree with a lot of the comments made, this place is ridiculous to get into and the tables are so ridiculously sized its a joke. My friend knew someone promoting so he had pre booked a table. Despite bookin the table we still waited outside forever. This looked like common practice. Oh and the women who tick off your name are no funny, all they do is flick there hair about and strut about like they're in a commercial. its worth a laugh just looking at them.Anyway the stress of gettin in aside me and my friends did have the most amazin night, it was halloween, people were in crazy costumes, there was a saxophonist, ridiculous sized bottles of belvadere and a great party atmosphere. The whole place was decorated and most people were drunk or very tipsy and ready to dance. The music was very eccletic, going from dance, to rnb, to house to pop. So we danced the night away and our waitor was very attentive so we were never short of drink.I definitely think someone should adress the queue situation outside but all in all i think if your looking for a club with a party vibe, where everyone is enjoying themselves this is the place to be. So fight your way in people! :)

My best friend arranged to celebrate her birthday here on a saturday night. I arrived, queued up and next minute later my friend calls to say that none of the girls, including the birthday girl were allowed to enter. Why? Because they didn't fit the image. Pathetic. Totally ruined her birthday.

I totally agree with all the above comments. This place is the worst i have EVER come across. We paid over a grand for a table that was no bigger than a matchbox and 2 seats for 7 of us! Spent a small mortgage on this complete waste of space club and as the comments detail above the bar staff waitress service, etc was absolutley terrible, rude obnoxuois, etc, etc. I wouldn't even have given this place a single star on the review but it wouldn't let me! There were surcharges all over the place! In fact i think i spent more on the surcharges than on the drink - complete and utter rubbish - steer extremely clear!

The club is in a good location and pretty much let in anyone who is stupid enough to pay the £20 cover charge. However the bouncers are the worst in London. Avoid this place like the plague!

I go clubbing twice a week in the West End, and I must say I have never been into a more prentencious club than Dolce. The staff were so rude that the clientele seemed to mimic them in order to make themselves feel more important. Just walking though the club everyone was staring at everyone else looking them up and down with distaste. Everyone seemed to think so highly of themselves in there for some reason, it was horrible.

Movida and Crystal are far less prentencious, with lovely staff and a nice crowd who always make you feel welcome. When we arrived at Dolce we were confronted with about 5 seperate groups of people arguing with the door pickers who were being very rude back to them. It was not a pleasant atmosphere to say the least.

I agree with the other reviews on the staff...and I was in there on a Monday night! The woman at the door was so obnoxious that if I had been the one leading the group, we would have never entered. In all fairness, there were a few members of the staff who were nice to me, but they were still horrible to my guy friends. When I was really hot at one point, a bartender was kind enough to offer me a water (and not charge!!). Also, It was packed (I've seen many a filled club, but it's rare that I've actually had to step outside because I was feeling too claustrophobic). Furthermore, it didn't really seem all that VIP. The decor and crowd were tacky. We got a fishbowl (£150), which was quite good, though not strong. For now, I'll keep looking for another good club...
