Dress Me Up at Topshop

Hire a celebrity's dress for the night at the Dress Me Up at Topshop special event, which takes place in the run up to Christmas 2009. Available to order from the flagship Oxford Street store, dresses in the collection feature donations from Kate Moss, Dita Von Teese and Scarlett Johansson.

Celebrity frocks
Offering a once in a lifetime chance to sample the wardrobe of the rich and famous for just £40.00, Dress Me Up at Topshop is raising money for Age Concern and Help the Aged. After the hire period the collection will go under the hammer in a silent auction where fashion fans with cash to burn can buy the right to own the dresses forever.

Kate Moss
Kate Moss is well known for her Topshop connections, and for the Dress Me Up at Topshop charity campaign she has donated a beaded Lanvin party dress that is available to hire. Other celebrities who have donated dresses include Naomi Campbell, Zandra Rhodes, Erin O'Connor and Kimberley Stewart.

Design highlights
As well as the Lanvin beaded dress from Kate Moss, other covetable designer labels formerly owned by famous trend setters include a full length floral gown by Dolce & Gabbana from Peaches Geldof, and a pale yellow Burberry Prorsum dress from Freida Pinto. A Nanette Lepore animal print minidress from Scarlett Johansson is also available to rent, as well as a bespoke stage costume from Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts.

Vintage clothes
Retro inspired glamour is available in the form of a midnight blue Jayson Brundson dress from Dita Von Teese. The Dress Me Up at Topshop celebrity dress hire also features authentic vintage pieces from the wardrobes of Sophie Dahl and Little Boots.

The Dress Me Up at Topshop collection is available to view at the Oxford Circus store from Thursday 26th November - Sunday 6th December 2009. The collection is available to view from 1pm - 9pm Monday - Friday, 1pm - 8pm Saturday and 1pm - 5pm Sunday.

The hire period runs from Monday 7th December - Wednesday 23rd December 2009. The hire cost is £40.00 per dress for two nights. The Dress Me Up area can be found on the lower ground floor of the Oxford Circus store.
