Ealing Blues Festival

The Ealing Blues Festival 2011 sees the 23rd anniversary of the festival, which has become a permanent fixture in the Ealing Summer Festival calendar. Hosting some of the biggest and most prestigious blues gigs in London, the Ealing Blues Festival should not to be missed by any jazz or blues fan worth their salt.

Blues for the summer
Mixing local and international talent, the Ealing Blues Festival kicks off with a whole afternoon and evening of live music performaces in Walpole Park. An exceptional lineup of artists brings you the best in blues, funk, Latin and smooth grooves, so just kick back, relax and enjoy some seriously good blues.

This year's highlights
For the 2011 Ealing Blues Festival you can expect to see a great lineup of soulful blues and mellow melodies with Sandi Thom set to headline. In 2009, the likes of The Swampcats and Chris Jagger entertained the crownds from the main stage, whilst over on the Crypt Stage the Ealing Young Musicians proved that you can never start too young with the blues, and The Grifters also provided some soulful melodies.

The Ealing Blues Festival runs from 1pm - 10pm, Saturday 23rd July 2011. Entry prices are yet to be announced.
