Last year was the first time I went to the Clothes Show London, having not been since I was at school to the NEC. It was a real treat to see so many new designers, gorgeous clothes and discounts on my favourite products. The fashion show was just awesome, the choreography and the models were just simply stunning. Can't wait to go again this year! Just remember to take some cash with you as few people have card machines and you don't want to be queuing for the cash point for ages!
I took my girlfriend to the show last year and must admit it was one of the best days we have shared in London, we can't wait to go back and have already bought tickets.
I know what you mean - but I think it was the first time they did it in London last year. I don't really rate Excel as a venue, but this year it's at Earls Court - soooo much easier to get to.
The catwalk show was amazing, me and my mum got platinum seats and we were right at the front - going platinum all the way again!
You shouldn't knock it, have you seen the website? There's way better brands there this year and Gareth Pugh signed for the Style Stage.
I bought loads of beauty products at major bargain prices and found an outfit to wear to my cousins wedding. I'm planning on getting all my summer stuff here this year.
Can't wait!!
I can no wait for this years Clothes Show London! I have been to Clothes Show Live in Birmingham since I was 7, now 23 I still love it!
I went to London last year and just adored the Designer beach, those gorgeous models in just swimshorts - yum! What more can a girl want on a Saturday afternoon after a whole day of pure shopping?!
I have bought tickets to the Style Awards this year and I can't wait to see Paloma Faith play - according to the website it says she is doing an accoustic set, I am so excited, I love her this should be immense!!
Bring on 3 weeks time :-)
A waste of time and money. Hugely overpriced with very little worth seeing. An irritating combination of cheap imports and aggressive sales people. Not a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
I stopped at the cafe to have a sandwich and was brought charred focaccia. When I asked for another, I was told by the manager that this was just the way it was served! Next time I'll head out locally for a fraction of the price.
As an architect and designer, I have made the decision to never go to this tired and non progressive show! I have hoped that Tom Dixon's creative direction would have added to the experience but unfortunately not. I was most concerned that like most things initially a great event with class and creativity, commercialism sets in and eventually will implode within itself! Very poor show, and other newer events with more substance!
