Celebrate all things East London at the special festival of events for the EAST at Museum of London Docklands festival.

Talks and tours
With the EAST festival takes place across the eastern boroughs of the city, there's plenty to get involved in. The EAST at Museum of London Docklands events include a tour of the Old Jewish East End, a guided walk of Stepney Way, a digital photo shoot competition and a look at Docklands art and architecture.

Free events
While there is an entry fee for some of the EAST at Museum of London Docklands events, there are two free events sure to be popular with fans of East London history and culture. For kids aged seven and over, there's a special storytelling session exploring the history of Queen Nanny and the Maroons, a fierce military leader in Jamaica during the 1740s. And adults can take part in a talk held by award winning journalist Anna Minton, who will be talking about the character of urban planning and public space in modern Britain.

The EAST at Museum of London Docklands events take place from Friday 5th March - Sunday 7th March 2010, as part of the 2010 EAST festival. For more information on EAST, click on the link below.
