The East London Design Show arrives in London this December with a far reaching showcase of cutting edge design talents. Expect innovative designs, vibrant pieces and exclusive creations at one of London’s biggest design events.
Exclusive designs
Everything from ceramics and jewellery to fashion and furniture is on display at the show, held in the grand setting of Shoreditch Town Hall. Visitors can browse contemporary design and see what’s new for 2011, direct from a pool of creative talent.
Christmas shopping
With a diverse range of products available at the East London Design Show you can expect to find a range of unique gift solutions for all ages. Design enthusiasts can start Christmas shopping early whilst helping support local talent in the heart of East London. Whether you want fashion, accessories, prints and art, textiles, kids stuff or design statements, there is plenty to get you in the mood for a little shopping.
Something different at the East London Design Show
First established in 1994 the East London Design Show is intended to showcase the breadth of local design talent in East London whilst offering a unique alternative to consumer goods. Over 100 separate designers are expected to take part in the show this year, bringing a diverse range of products to light.
East London Design Show highlights
Highlights from the show this year include quirky textile designs from Lila Pin, kids clothing from Rockabye-Baby, ceramics from People Will Always Need Plates, jewellery from Glitter and Twisted and innovative design products from DesignK. Visitors to the 2011 show can browse a world of exclusive design and be introduced to new talent in East London.
Family fun
Kids are invited to get creative with designs of their own in a special creative area. This year budding designers can join the CraftHouse crew in their workshops or join the adults in making some creative gifts in a vibrant, fun environment, open to visitors of all ages. East London Design Show Workshops
The East London Design Show takes place at Shoreditch Town Hall from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th December 2011. East London Design Show tickets are £5.00 for adults, £3.00 concessions. Children under 16 go free.
The show opens on Friday 2nd December from 12pm - 8pm, from 10am - 6pm, on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th December.
