Easter at Museum in Docklands

There is plenty to see, make and do, and even learn about this Easter at Museum in Docklands. With workshops, activity afternoons and story telling sessions, kids and family will be more than happy to spend their time at the museum over Easter.

Looking at the history of the cocoa bean and how it is made into chocolate treats this Easter at Museum in Docklands, children can learn all about cocoa, where it comes from and how it was unloaded at the docks before being made into drinks in the chocolate house of London. There will be plenty of hands on experience of what is done to the cocoa bean after it has been imported. Along with the adventures of chocolate, there will also be the chance to make an Easter themed mobile. This workshop takes place at 12:30pm and 2:30pm on Easter Sunday.

Easter Monday is a chance for kids to take part in a special ribbon dance workshop as part of the China in London festival. Specially for kids aged 2 to 5 years old, the Museum in Docklands invites little children to enjoy the movement and fun of the traditional Chinese ribbon dance. This event costs £5.00 and takes place at 2pm on Monday 24th March.
