Take the kids to an unusual museum for a special Easter at Old Operating Theatre. The Good Friday workshop explores the medicinal properties of chocolate and gives childrens the chance to learn all about ancient and modern chocolate therapies. Plus, you can make your own Easter goody box.

For kids with an interest in becoming a doctor, there's also the opportunity to see a demonstration of an operation without anaesthetics or antiseptic over the Easter weekend. See how it's done on Britain's only remaining wooden 19th century operating theatre.
