The Easter Wonderland at London Eye is the perfect place for a little chocolate indulgence with a conscience for Easter 2008. Bringing the chocolatey goodness of the Lindt gold bunny to Londoners for March, the London Eye is also helping out children who may not be having such a good time.

Raising money for Childline the Easter Wonderland at London Eye features a giant gold Lindt bunny money box, face painting for kids, free Lindt chocolate giveaways and master chocolatiers on stilts! An unusual Easter event that is sure to capture your childrens imagination, there is plenty to see and do down at the Easter Wonderland.

The London Eye is the centre of all the Lindt chocolate and Childline activity, as there will be plenty of things to do and see around the famous London attraction. An enormous green Childline phone will be ringing on and off and providing visitors with information about all the work that the charity does, and exactly where your donation goes.

Every day from 6:30pm onwards the Easter Wonderland at London Eye is lit up by magical illuminations projected by the lights of Gerry Hofsetter, the renowned Swiss light artist. Having created amazing images all around the world, with projections of polar bears on the Antarctic icebergs and images onto the Pyramids and Washington's National Cathedral, Hofsetter has now created a show that brings to life the plight of many abused and ill treated kids in the UK.

The story that is behind the light show has been written by the famous children's author Mimi Thebo, and is called Give a Child a Golden Chance. The spectacular light projection on the Shell Building can be seen from Waterloo Bridge, Southbank and the Northbank every day from the 11th March until the Easter weekend, but the best views are undoubtedly from on or around the London Eye.
