BBC Electric Proms is a huge live music festival featuring a line up of star acts over three days in October 2010. Proms music lovers can celebrate the best in contemporary music in a unique festival event, kicking off at the legendary Roundhouse in Camden.

Star acts
A selection of top acts are taking to the stage, ready to rock out in true Electric Proms style. With both Elton John and Plan B already confirmed to play, 2010 boasts a stellar lineup with the cream of today's music scene being represented.

Who will be there?
Sir Elton John is opening the 2010 festival by performing tracks from his new album, The Union, with musical legend Leon Russell. Sir Elton will also be collaborating with British rapper Plan B and up and coming talent Rumer at Electric Proms 2010. Not to be missed. The festival also sees the legendary Robert Plant take to the Roundhouse stage, as well as Neil Diamond.

One of the highlights of this year's superb event is special concert by the legendary Neil Diamond, in an event that revisits some of the star's best loved songs from a career that spans five decades. There's also the one off collaboration between Sir Elton John and Plan B, in one of the many show stopping partnerships on the lineup for the 2010 festival.
