Empire Big Screen London

Billed as the live movie event of the year, the Empire Big Screen London show takes over The O2 arena for three days of sneak previews and behind the scenes footage of some of the most anticipated films of the year.

Film premieres
Giving you the chance to enjoy exclusive access to the biggest and most eagerly awaited films of the year before they hit the cinema screen, the Empire Big Screen London event features never before seen early footage from forthcoming blockbusters alongside live entertainment, interspersed with the odd premiere or two. Film buffs can also look forward to a series of feature length movie previews at the event.

Meet the stars
With independent distributors backing the cinematic extravaganza alongside major studios such as Disney, Universal Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox, Sony Pictures, Marvel Studios, Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros., the Empire Big Screen London show has access to some of the biggest stars and filmmaking talent around. The event promises appearances from A-list movie stars as well as directors and other behind the camera legends.

Props exhibition
Film fans of all ages can also feast their eyes on an array of costumes, original props and other memorabilia in the Hollywood Boulevard area of the Empire Big Screen London show, and also browse the latest technological gadgets and developments in home entertainment systems at the Silicon Valley zone. Presented by film magazine Empire, the event also features live entertainment in the Live Special FX Arena, and the chance to get invaluable insights into the film industry from the professionals.

The lineup
One of the highlights of the event will be the UK premiere of Cowboys and Aliens, with stars Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford in attendance alongside director Jon Favreau. There's also the UK premiere of Fright Night, with star David Tennant attending in person to greet fans.

Sneak previews
Fans can enjoy sneak previews of Arthur Christmas and The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists, as well as seeing exclusive footage from Daniel Radcliffe's forthcoming film, The Woman in Black. There's also preview screenings of Norwegian horror film TrollHunter, the new 3D Conan The Barbarian and future comedy hit The Change-Up, starring Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman.

The Empire Big Screen London event takes place from Friday 12th August - Sunday 14th August 2011 at The O2. Standard day tickets cost £35.00.
