Absolute joke! I have booked a Groupon voucher to use at Essentials Medi-Spa in London only to find out that the next available appointment was in 7 months!! I was subsequently told that that this is entirely my fault for not having made the booking in the first 24 hours after obtaining the voucher... which I certainly tried to do but was not able to get through as the lines went into silence whenever I called.
The manager informed me in a rude manner that they are in compliance with their legal obligations as the booking can be made within one year after the voucher has been issued. What they completely seem to forget though is their customer service obligations.... On top they refused to offer a refund!

Stay away from this place and any deals they may be offering via different websites. They oversell in order to milk customers and are totally not prepared to meet their resulting obligations.
Notion of customer service is compltely allien to them. They will take your money but offer no apologies and no refunds. Disgrace.

I totally disagree with the previous review. I am a regular at Essentials Medi Spa I have been having monthly appoinments for the past three years with them and It is the most friendly salon I have ever been to. The therapists are brilliant all of them are welcoming and warm and they all have lots of experience so you are paying to be in safe hands with guaranteed spot on treatments, also the therapists have been there for as long as I have been going which is rare these days to go to a place and see the same therapists. They are always busy and usually you have to book far in advance for an appointment. I know that they have a policy to charge for your appoinment if you do not turn up and at the end of the day they are trying to run a business. If you cant make your appointment due to being lost they would help to direct you, but I know they that would only charge if you miss the appointment without contacting them. If they were quiet and you was 2 hours late I am sure they would still do your appoinment in-fact I know they would. So to anyone looking for a friendly relaxed atmosphere with lovely therapists and great treatments then I cant recommend essentials enough.

The customer service at this place is the worst I have ever heard of. When my wife attended - admittedly late, the way they spoke to her was literally the worst, most rude, example of poor customer service I have ever encountered in this country or anywhere else.

Enforcing the rules is one thing, but talking to customers as if they are something on shoe is something else entirely. When she arrived late, due to being lost, and still relatively new to this country, they didn't even greet her, and instead proceeded to abruptly demand full payment for her treatment, while at the same time refusing to even provide the treatment that had been booked.

The place was quiet at the time, and they could easily have accommodated, but chose not to. They completely ignored her explanation and kept demanding the money rudely.

Obviously nobody is going to pay for something that they haven't made use of, and demanding 100% is completely unreasonable, in fact I doubt that this is even allowed.

But nevertheless, without any kind of flexibility they bullied her until she had to leave the shop. This was also a first visit and a genuine mistake, so excellent first impression given by this company, not!

You would assume a business would take a more pragmatic approach to customer service than utilising small print to fleece people.

Giving customers zero leeway or flexibility for treatments that are actually not cheap, makes this place completely out of character compared with what you'd expect in Covent Garden. The mentality seems more like a third world outfit treating customers as if they are criminals and not paying patrons that their business relies on.

I know if I treated customers like that in my business I'd be walking the plank. The web site might look nice but read the terms and conditions. You are going to be treated like dirt at this place if they can possibly get away with it, and any excuse to take your money without providing the treatments will be used.

I had my first cause of Caci treatment here - it is amazing. I advise anyone who's thinking of eradicating wrinkes or cellulite to check this place out. It's incredible.
