Part of the National Family Week series of events, the family picnic day at Alexandra Palace takes place in Alexandra Park and promises plenty of activities and entertainment for children and adults alike. Pack up some scrumptious treats for your picnic, bring sunscreen and a brollie to cover all weather conditions and prepare for a day out alfresco fun.

Events and activities
Families can go on a lakeside art trail and explore the 196 acres of parkland during the family picnic day at Alexandra Palace, and also make the most of face painters and entertainment stalls. There's live music for all ages to enjoy, as well as a barbecue on the terrace of the Phoenix Bar and a funfair featuring a range of fairground rides.
